"Untitled" - Week One Completed!

Wow - what a great first week of shooting! I truly think that we have a guardian angel on our side. Everything is just falling into place with this production. For example:
  • Our location for our first day of shooting fell through the week prior to the shoot. However, our Assistant Director (Brett Register) found a new location that ended up working out better than the original.

  • We had trouble securing our sound equipment last week, but our Director of Photography (Tim Riese) was able to secure different equipment a few days before the shoot.

  • Our unique car for the shoot fell through a couple of days prior to the shoot. I was lucky enough to secure a better car the day before.

  • The day of the shoot, we lost the availability of one of our actors. After some frantic calling, Ronnie Graham drove down from Daytona and gave a terrific performance.

  • The prop guns that we needed did not arrive in time for the shoot. However, a friend of mine had the exact same prop guns that we needed, and he was nice enough to allow us to use them for the first days of the shoot.

I think you get the idea. As everything was starting to fall apart around us, our guardian angel was building it back up.

Aside from all of the issues, our cast and crew are incredible - and they have created an extremely professional set. If this first weekend is any sign for the future, then there are good thing waiting ahead for Untitled.
